Evelyn Rude is a Gen-Z creative based in Austin, Texas. For over 6 years, she has made it her mission to thoughtfully create through the Asian American lens. Whether it's photography, directing, or social impact producing, Evelyn has integrated herself in the heart of Austin. She was selected by Soho House as a mentee from Creative Future's Collective in 2024. Produced multiple cultural events such as her Night Under the Lanterns Event and Gallery which ended up being picked up by META. And have worked as a UGC creator creating cinematic and artistic ads that created conversation and intrigue.
Her work is inspired by her upbringing as Vietnamese foster youth with a Japanese background from her adopted family. Projects such as K of Koi or Lantern Siblings have lead to her path as a film director and producer.
