Looking back on my work over the years, I have realized how my photos have transitioned into art. Before, I never knew the meaning behind my photos. There never was a concept, theme, or never symbol. Now whenever I do any photos, I have to have concept, story, or theme. And if not, I really cannot express my creativity through my work in any better way. I wanted to do a concept and story about the symbolization of baby's breath. Baby's breath are flowers. The flowers are commonly seen at weddings and symbolize everlasting love. But it can symbolize innocence. I've always loved innocent ties and meanings. So for the idea of the photos was to physically represent baby's breath by surrounding the model in the flowers and even placing them in her mouth to show "a baby's breath." I wanted a dewy wet look to bring a freshness to the photos just like the flowers itself. The whole point is to show off naivety, femininity, and light shining through the darkness of the many obstacles in the world.
